Okay, as a treat, I’ve decided to post the rough prologue to my new graphic novel “The Sheppards”. Now remember, this is subject to change. Heavily. So if a particular line is to your disliking, it may be changed in the future.
But anyways, here it is:
Throughout time, there have been many people, with many followers, but whether or not those people deserved those followers, is a matter of opinion.
The story I am about to tell, focuses upon the legendary Steve Bolt and his very own group of followers, we shall refer to them as “The Metalheads”.
“The Metalheads” were a group of violent young teenagers, who adored Bolt enough to devote most of their time to him as roadies and groupies.
Among the many “Metalheads” were a handful of women, some were pretty damn hot, others weren’t quite on par with the hotness of the hot groupies.
But when Steve Bolt was accused of committing the murders of his former band mates, in his rival band “Ratdeth”, “The Metalheads” did what any devoted fans would do, seek and kill the remaining fans of “Ratdeth”.
Many “Metalheads” were given extensive therapy; others were shot down by police; the remaining numbers were put into a high security prison, just off the coast of France.
As the months passed, “The Metalheads” were starting to die down in their killings, they all seemed to get to grips with reality and were willing to wait fifty years until Bolt was released from prison.
This remained for about two years, because after those two years, Bolt was placed onto Death Row.
This enraged “The Metalheads”, so much so that one man would actually start up an attack force, an attack force he would call, “The Sheppards”…
I am sad to say that I am again taking a break from Sunrise.
But, everyone cloud has a silver lining and I am happy to say that the reason I am taking time off from Sunrise is so that I can work on a graphic novel and will update all (3) of you followers on a few things and maybe post some behind the scenes stuff.
All I can say right now is that is a prison escape story about fans of Heavy Metal music.
So look forward to that.

When I first started this blog, I figured it would fit more into the “humor” category, since there is a mixture of writing, comics, art, and exactly one video. Lately, with a few exceptions, this basically a webcomic. So from now on, instead of begging for recommendations for the humor directory, I will be begging for recommendations for the comic directory.
